Recruit4staff are representing a well-established mechanical engineering company in their search for a Pipefitter Welder to work in Runcorn.
Job Role: The Pipefitter Welder will be responsible for fabricating a range of products from start to finish, including pipework using TIG welding on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Duties involve interpreting engineering drawings, assembling and installing pipes, valves and fittings, and ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout. The role will include both workshop and site-based work, with tasks such as cutting, threading, welding and accurate installation of mechanical components.
Job Details:
- Pay: £18 per hour (PAYE) or £24 per hour (Umbrella)
- Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday, 7.30am–3.30pm; earlier finish on Fridays
- Duration: Temporary
- Benefits: Overtime paid at x1.25 (Mon–Fri after 8 hrs), x1.5 (Saturday), x2 (Sunday); Minimum 4 hours pay for weekend work
