Job Details
- Pay: £23.25 per hour
- Hours of Work: 7:30am – 16:00pm, some Saturdays required
- Duration: Temporary (4 week initial, potentially more work)
- Benefits: Weekly pay, enhanced overtime rates
Job Role
The Pipefitter will be working on-site at a warehouse in Trafford Park. Pipefitter duties include site measuring and the installation of 2\” and 1\” galvanised screwed pipework as part of a fit-out project. You’ll be interpreting technical drawings and assisting other trades on-site as required.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
- Experienced pipefitter within the commercial/building services sector
- Proven experience working with screwed pipework on similar projects
- NVQ/C&G in pipefitting or equivalent mechanical engineering discipline
- CCNSG/SCATS card
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
- TIG pipe welding experience
- Experience of fabrication and welding work
- Ability to work with stainless steel/carbon steel welded pipework an advantage
