Job Role: The Pharmaceutical Process Expert will provide day-to-day technical support to manufacturing operations, ensuring products are produced safely, compliantly, and to schedule. This role involves implementing and updating process equipment, supporting audits, leading quality risk assessments, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site. As a technical authority, the Pharmaceutical Process Expert will coach manufacturing teams and use data-driven insights to support operational excellence.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Proven background as a Pharmaceutical Process Expert or in a similar technical manufacturing role, or a Life Sciences Degree
- Knowledge of change controls and QEVs
- Experience with tech transfer or project management
- Strong GMP and compliance knowledge within a regulated environment
- Ability to gather, analyse, and interpret data using basic statistical tools, including control charts and hypothesis testing
- Operational Excellence exposure, ideally Six Sigma Yellow Belt
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Previous experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing is highly advantageous
- SAP experience
- Experience supporting internal and external audits
