Recruit4staff are representing an established infrastructure business in their search for a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager to work in Penrhyndeudraeth.

Job Details:

  • Pay: £80,000 per annum
  • Hours of Work: Days role, 45 hours
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Benefits: £6,325 car allowance, 8% employer pension contribution, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Job Role:

As the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager, you will lead best practices across safety, health, and sustainability on the SVIP Project. You'll advise directors and managers on legal and procedural responsibilities, oversee compliance with HUK requirements, conduct inspections and audits, and lead accident investigations. A key part of your role will be reviewing and improving health & safety systems, managing statistics, and driving continuous improvement through lessons learnt, inductions, and campaigns.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • On-site experience on major infrastructure projects (ideally tunnelling)
  • CSCS Card
  • NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 5 in Occupational Safety & Health
  • IOSH Certificate
  • Environmental management experience in construction
  • Knowledge of working at height, confined spaces, equipment, and safety practices
  • Familiarity with admin processes for New Roads and Streetworks Activities
