Job Role:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth operation of the hospital's laundrette department. The Maintenance Engineer will carry out planned preventative maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and ensure all plant and equipment is operating efficiently. This role involves fault finding, diagnostics, and safely starting up and shutting down processing equipment in a busy working environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer or in a similar role
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Apprenticeship served or equivalent in mechanical engineering
- Knowledge of mechanical, automation, hydraulic, pneumatic, or steam/pressure systems
