Job Details:
- Pay: £24.05 per hour (CIS)
- Overtime paid at enhanced rates: £28.70 / £33.35
- Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 07.30 - 16.00
- Duration: Contract (Minimum of 6 weeks, can become a long-term semi-permanent position)
Job Role:
The Pipefitter will work on-site at a chemical manufacturing facility, performing a range of industrial pipefitting duties. The Pipefitter will be responsible for measuring field fit pipework 1" - 12", cutting and preparing materials for welding, and ensuring accurate communication of measurements. The Pipefitter will also install pipe supports and carry out site installation tasks including bolting pipe spools, valves, and in-line components. This role requires a hands-on Pipefitter with strong experience in industrial environments and the ability to work efficiently on-site.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as a Pipefitter in industrial settings
- Strong pipe fabrication, cutting, and preparation skills
- Experience measuring and fitting pipework
- Ability to carry out site installation work including bolting pipe spools, valves, and in-line items
- NVQ/C&G in pipefitting or equivalent mechanical engineering discipline
- CCNSG/SCATS card
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- TIG pipe welding experience
- Experience of fabrication and welding work
- Ability to work with stainless steel/carbon steel welded pipework
Additional Information:
- Work based at a biomass facility
- Free parking on site
- Company van can be utilised for candidates in Widnes, Runcorn, and South Liverpool areas
