Job Role:
As a Field Service Engineer, you will service, maintain and repair a varied range of machinery, including access equipment, forklifts and telehandlers, with occasional work on the company's HGV, van and car fleet. The Field Service Engineer will attend external customer sites as required, working to minimise machinery downtime and complete repairs within required timescales. You will also coordinate parts ordering with the Service Controller and ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a similar role involving forklift, access equipment or plant repairs
- Previous experience servicing, maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to complete repairs efficiently while minimising fleet and customer downtime
- Ability to work safely within the workshop and at customer sites
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Service and Repair, or equivalent, would be advantageous
