Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing business in their search for a Shift Manager to work in their leading facility in Much Wenlock.
For the successful Shift Manager, our client is offering:
- Starting salary on offer is up to £42,000 depending on experience
- Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm, Fridays 7am-4pm
- Permanent position
- Pension – Company Pension or Auto enrolment
- Free onsite parking

The role – Shift Manager:
- Responsible for leading the day to day operation of your assigned area
- Ensuring production targets are being met safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards
- Ensure machines are setup, operated and shut down properly
- Monitor machine performance
- Assisting with changeovers
- Troubleshooting minor issues
- Liaising with Engineering
- Ensuring Production lines are running smoothly throughout the shift
- Plan, coordinate and Supervise Production Line operations
- Stock control
- Conduct on the job training and ensuring staff are following SOP's
- Ensuring products meet Quality standards
What our client is looking for in a Shift Manager:
- Previous experience within a similar role - ESSENTIAL
- Demonstrate Managerial experience within a Production/Manufacturing environment
- Our client is looking for a Proactive manager who is comfortable Operating equipment, as well as Managing people
- Full UK Licence with Own car is essential due to the location
- Ideally hold a FLT Licence, or be willing to train
- Mechanical aptitude
