For the successful Manufacturing Engineer our client is offering: Competitive Days shifts (39 hours per week) Permanent Position Potential for some flexibility in start/finish times Opportunity for progression Early finish on Fridays The role of Manufacturing Engineer – : Working on a number of projects including helping develop products before launches. Support the operations team as a front-line engineer working with assemblers and operators and troubleshooting equipment and process issues Engage with cross-functional business teams to meet daily production schedules and lead improvement strategies and initiatives Manage projects which include new production equipment, process improvements and cost reductions while supporting new product introductions Improve areas of the production environment using Lean manufacturing concepts Coordinate the design, procurement, build and debug of tooling, machinery and test equipment Maintain good housekeeping, a healthy and safe work environment and the safe use of equipment and machinery What our client is looking for in a Manufacturing Engineer: An in-depth understanding of Engineering within CNC Machines, Press Machines and Assembly – ESSENTIAL Advanced Microsoft Excel skills BSc or HNC in an engineering/technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience – ESSENTIAL Working knowledge of ERP systems such as Epicor – DESIRABLE Key skills or similar Job titles: Manufacturing Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Production Engineer, Manufacturing Technician Commutable From: Conwy, Anglesey, Pwllheli.
