Recruit4Staff are pleased to be representing their client, a leading food production company in their search for a Maintenance Engineer to work in their leading facility in Smethwick. For the successful Maintenance Engineer, our client is offering:
- Competitive salary paying up to £40,000 per annum
- The company operate between 7am-6pm and you will be working a flexible 8 hour shift Monday to Friday depending on business needs
- Permanent position
- 20 days holiday + bank holidays
- Days only, no shift work involved
The Role of the Maintenance Engineer:
- Support and carry out any maintenance duties on site as directed
- To support site planned maintenance inspections
- To support all reasonable repairs on site equipment
- Support any equipment breakdown needs to reduce production down time
- Carry out any other duties as and when required
- Responsible for weekly strip and clean-down of production equipment
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Liaising with the Production team
What our client is looking for in a Maintenance Engineer:
- Must be Multi-skilled - ESSENTIAL
- Ideally coming from a Food Production background - Highly advantageous
- Proven experience of working with Steam Generators, Compressed Air and Electrics
- Proven experience within a Maintenance role
- Ideally hold mechanical or electrical qualifications
