Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company in their search for a Maintenance Engineer to work in their leading facility in Telford.
For the successful Maintenance Engineer, our client is offering:
- Salary of up to £44,446.80 (£37,039 + 20% Shift Allowance)
- 3 week shift rotation:
- Week 1 – Sunday 11.00pm to 6.00am, Monday to Thursday 10.00pm to 6.00am
- Week 2 – Monday to Thursday 2.00pm to 10.00pm, Friday 1.00pm to 8.00pm
- Week 3 – Monday to Thursday 6.00am to 2.00pm, Friday 6.00am to 1.00pm
The Role of the Maintenance Engineer:
- Maintain all production equipment to provide optimum functionality
- Urgently attend breakdowns and diagnose and repair equipment using the appropriate equipment & tools
- Carrying out preventative maintenance tasks
- Fault finding
- Ensure machine/production lines downtime is kept to a minimum
- Supporting Operators / Apprentices with any issues that may arise
- Carrying out continuous improvement activities - IE Investigation, proposing and implementing improvements / ideas
- Working in line with the company budget
- Carrying out modifications where necessary
What our client is looking for in a Maintenance Engineer:
- Mechanical / Electrical experience - Multi skilled
- Experience working within a FMCG environment
- HNC / HND / NVQ Level 4 as a minimum in Engineering - ESSENTIAL
Commutable From: Telford, Wolverhampton, Shrewsbury, Cannock, Bridgnorth, Dudley, Newport, Market Drayton, Stafford.
