The Role - Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on manufacturing equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults
- Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
- Assisting with machinery installations, upgrades, and project work
- Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations
- Updating maintenance records using CMMS systems
- Supporting continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
- Liaising with production teams to maximise equipment performance
What our client is looking for in the successful Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:
- Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC, HND, Apprenticeship or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a manufacturing, production, FMCG, food, packaging, automotive, or industrial environment
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics
