What our client is offering for the successful Fabricator:
- Β£33,000 P/A
- Monday to Thursday 7.45 AM to 4.30 PM and Friday 7.45 AM to 12.30 PM (Days)
- Permanent position

The Role β Fabricator
- Working closely with the design team to manufacture and build new tooling, jigs and fixtures
- Producing prototype components and supporting the development of new agricultural machinery
- Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Carrying out high-quality MIG welding and fabrication of mild steel components
- Repairing and maintaining existing jigs, fixtures and press tools
- Designing and building jigs to support robotic welding processes
- Identifying and implementing improvements to fabrication and assembly processes
- Ensuring all work is completed to high standards of quality, safety and efficiency
What our client is looking for in a successful Fabricator:
- HNC/ONC in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a completed engineering apprenticeship β ESSENTIAL
- Previous experience as a Fabricator, Jig Maker, Toolmaker, Prototype Fabricator, or similar β ESSENTIAL
- Strong MIG welding and fabrication skills working with mild steel β ESSENTIAL
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings β ESSENTIAL
- Experience producing tooling, jigs and fixtures β ESSENTIAL
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
