Recruit4staff are representing an established engineering business in their search for a Pipefitter to work from their Widnes based workshop.

Job Details:

  • Pay: £24.05 per hour (CIS)
  • Overtime paid at enhanced rates: £28.70 / £33.35
  • Hours of Work: 07:30 – 16:00, Monday to Friday
  • Duration: Temporary (Trial 2 weeks – leading to semi-permanent for the right candidate)
  • Benefits: Free parking on-site

Job Role:

Working within the workshop and sites across the North West. The workshop work will include, but is not limited to, working to drawings to cut/prep and set up new pipework spools for welding. The site work will include the measuring of field fit lengths of pipework and being able to communicate the information. The candidate must be willing to also carry out site installation works, bolting pipe spools, valves, pumps and must also be able to fabricate/install screwed pipe.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Fabrication and installation of screwed pipework
  • Measuring, cutting, and prepping pipework
  • Site installation and maintenance experience
  • C&G/NVQ in Pipefitting/Fabrication or equivalent
  • CCNSG/SCATS or equivalent site safety ticket

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Tacking up pipework
  • Welding of pipework

Additional Information:

  • Overtime – project/job dependent and regular shutdowns
  • Free parking on-site
  • Company van can be utilised for candidates in Widnes, Runcorn, and South Liverpool areas
