Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer in their search for an Electrical Fitter to work in their leading facility in Stoke on Trent.
For the successful Electrical Fitters, our client is offering:
- Competitive hourly rate of £16.77 per hour
- Temporary to Permanent position within a growing business
- Monday to Friday 7:30am-5pm with a 12:30pm finish on Fridays
- Regular overtime opportunities available to boost overall earning potential! (Paid at time and a half & Double Time)
- Bonus paid at Christmas depending on company performance
- Extra days annual leave at 5 years service
- 2 days extra annual leave at 10 years service
- Opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business
The Role - Electrical Fitter:
- Installing electrical systems into a variety of Commercial Vehicles/HGV's
- Reading from electrical drawings
- Working on different electrical systems
- Wiring
- Ability to achieve results in a busy working environment
- Constantly seeking ways to improve productivity whilst trying to reduce costs
- Holding meetings with the team and helping them to improve on performance levels
What our client is looking for in an Electrical Fitter:
- Ideally have experience working in a Body Building/Coach Building environment
- Have a background working with vehicles such as automotive/commercial, construction plant, truck body work or fork lift trucks
- Versatile, flexible and self-motivated
- Able to read electrical diagrams
- Strong communication skills
- Possess Senior/Team Leader Auto Electrics experience ideally
