Job Role:
As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for completing mechanical service and maintenance on factory machinery including injection moulding machines. Duties include planned maintenance checks (daily, weekly, quarterly), fault finding and breakdown repair, and working across pneumatic, hydraulic, motorised, and robotic systems. You will also be expected to cover out-of-hours call outs as part of the shift pattern.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Proven experience working on Injection Moulding Machinery
- Strong technical knowledge of Industrial Machinery and Mechanical Engineering
- Excellent track record of troubleshooting and breakdown repair
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Qualifications related to Hydraulic & Pneumatic Engineering
- Qualifications related to Robotics Engineering/Repair
- IPAF
- PASMA
- Working at Heights
- FLT Licence
- Overhead Crane Licence
