Job Details:
- Pay: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum
- Hours of Work: 08:30 am – 5:00 pm (1 hour\’s lunch)
- Duration: Permanent
- Benefits: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
Job Role: As a Junior Electrical Estimator, you will work as part of a team responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical projects. This position requires a detail-oriented individual capable of analysing project specifications, collaborating with design teams, and assisting in the preparation of comprehensive estimates. The Junior Electrical Estimator role would suit someone with a background in electrical design and build estimating and an ambition to develop within a growing business.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Proficiency in estimating software and spreadsheets
- Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations
- Analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Strong communication and people skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Level 3 Diploma or NVQ in a relevant discipline
