What our client is offering for the successful Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer :
£35.000 P/A
Monday to Thursday 7.45AM to 4.30PM & Friday 7.45AM to 12.30PM (Days position)
Permanent position

The Role - Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on manufacturing equipment
Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults
Responding to machinery breakdowns in a timely manner to minimise downtime
Maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
Assisting with machinery installations, upgrades, and project work
Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations
Updating maintenance records using CMMS systems
Supporting continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
Liaising with production teams to maximise equipment performance
What our client is looking for in the successful Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Essential Skills & Experience:
Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC, HND, Apprenticeship or equivalent)
Proven experience in a manufacturing, production, FMCG, food, packaging, automotive, or industrial environment
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and inverters
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics
Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
