What our client is offering for the successful CNC Operator:
- £28,256 P/A
- Monday to Thursday 7.45AM to 4.30PM & Friday 7.45AM to 12.30PM – this will change after training to 6-2 and 2-10 rotating
- Permanent position
- Company pension scheme

The Role – CNC Operator:
- Operating CNC milling and turning machines to manufacture precision-engineered components
- Loading materials and tooling into CNC machines and monitoring machining processes
- Working from engineering drawings and specifications to ensure products are manufactured to the required standards
- Carrying out in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipment
- Identifying and reporting machine faults, quality issues, or production concerns
- Assisting with machine set-ups and tool changes where required
- Maintaining accurate production and quality records
- Working to production schedules and targets while maintaining high levels of quality
- Carrying out basic machine maintenance and housekeeping duties
- Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 procedures, company policies, and Health & Safety requirements
- Supporting continuous improvement activities within the production department
- Carrying out any other duties as required by management
What our client is looking for in a successful CNC Operator:
- Previous experience operating CNC milling and/or turning machines – ESSENTIAL
- Experience with Fanuc and/or Mazatrol controls – ESSENTIAL
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings – ESSENTIAL
- Experience using precision measuring and inspection equipment such as verniers, micrometers, and gauges – ESSENTIAL
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Flexible and reliable approach to work
- Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment – ESSENTIAL
- Experience working to ISO 9001 standards – BENEFICIAL
