For the successful FLT Driver, our client is offering:
- £12.71 per hour
- Monday to Friday 07:30 - 16:00
- Temporary - Permanent position
- On-site walk around / Induction to understand the roles and environment
- Pay review once permanent, usually increases to £13.71 depending on performance
- Growth within multiple sections / areas of the business
- Career progression / In House training
The Role - FLT Driver:
- Packing
- Palletising
- Unboxing products
- Heavy lifting up to 20kg
- Loading and unloading
- Liaising with transport
- Following food and hygiene regulations on site
- Working with a team of around 6-8 people
- Supervise the correct running of the various machines ensuring quality finished product
- Correctly daily/weekly cleaning documents
What our client is looking for in a FLT Driver:
- Previous experience within the food manufacturing industry - DESIRABLE
- Counterbalance Forklift licence - ESSENTIAL
- Must have picking/ packing/ palletising experience - DESIRABLE
- Be able to complete / read labels and paperwork when required - ESSENTIAL
- Must be comfortable with heavy lifting up to 20KG - ESSENTIAL
