Engineering Shift Team Leader in Wrexham

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing a leading food manufacturer in their search for an Engineering Shift Team Leader to work at their Wrexham site.

Job Role: Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you\’ll lead the shift engineering team to maintain production assets, ensure compliance, drive performance, and support site improvements. You\’ll be the main point of contact for engineering during your shift.

For the successful Engineering Shift Team Leader, the client is offering:

• Pay: £54,000
• Shift: 4 on 4 off (2 days 2 nights)
• Overtime paid at 1.5x
• Permanent Position

The role – Engineering Shift Team Leader:

• Lead Engineering shift operations and team performance
• Management maintenance tasks via CMMS
• Ensure GMP, food safety and health & safety compliance
• Train, develop and support shift team members
• Drive continuous improvement and support site projects
• Escalate issues and maintain clear communication across departments

What our client is looking for in an Engineering Shift Team Leader:

• Recognised Engineering Qualification (Electrical/Multiskilled) – ESSENTIAL
• Experience in FMCG Manufacturing setting – ESSENTIAL
• Strong fault-finding skills – ESSENTIAL
• Team leadership or supervisory experience – ESSENTIAL
• Food processing background – DESIRABLE
• Familiar with CMMS and continuous improvement tools – DESIRABLE
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Understanding of effluent and environmental controls
