Recruit4staff are representing a well-established FMCG business in their search for a Health, Safety & Environment Manager to work in Droitwich.

Job Details:

  • Pay: Competitive Salary + Car/Car Allowance & Company Bonus
  • Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
  • Duration: Permanent

Job Role: The Health, Safety & Environment Manager will lead the site's HSE agenda, supporting the development of a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with legal and environmental standards. Responsibilities include risk assessments, legal permit maintenance, incident investigation support, statutory audits, training and coaching colleagues, and developing HSE strategies and improvement plans. The role also involves liaising with external authorities, managing HSE-related costs, and owning TACCP and BCP frameworks.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar role within an FMCG environment
  • A background in successfully implementing change to positive outcomes within an established business
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and influence a team across all functions
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving department
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Qualified to NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent with HS&E Management experience
  • Member of IOSH
  • An environmental qualification, such as AIEMA
  • H&S auditing/training qualification

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Experience within the Food Manufacturing industry
