Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading engineering company in their search for a Quality Inspector to work in their leading facility in Wolverhampton.
For the successful Quality Inspector, our client is offering:
- Competitive starting rate paying between £15 - £16 depending on experience, with genuine room for progression in the role (Up to £32,448 per annum)
- Days - 7am - 4pm with a 12pm finish on Fridays
- Permanent Position within a thriving company
- Salary reviews
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Overtime opportunities paid at time & a half after 39 hours are completed
- Free on site parking
The Role - Quality Inspector:
- Routine testing of vehicles after they've been built
- Reporting any issues that you may encounter when inspecting vehicles
- Thoroughly checking of HGV's using a check sheet
- Conducting a variety of checks around the vehicle
- Shunting vehicles around the yard - Training provided
- Mechanical testing
- Visual inspection
- Ensuring vehicles have thoroughly been inspected/tested and record any issues that may have been encountered
- Checking mudguards
- Using an IPAD to take photos when taking the vehicle in & again ready for final inspection
- Tightening nuts
What our client is looking for in a Quality Inspector:
- Must have a Full UK Driving Licence - ESSENTIAL
- Able to follow a wide variety of instructions
- Have a keen eye for detail
- Possess strong numerical/literacy based skills
- IT Literate as will be using an IPAD & Microsoft Applications (Excel/Word)
- Experience working with Quality Management Systems
- Our client is ideally looking for candidates that have experience within Automotive, but will consider other sectors within Manufacturing
- Must be okay working around Heavy Goods Vehicles
- Ideally hold a Class 2 Licence, but this isn't essential as training can be provided to shunt vehicles around the yard
- Must be Physically Fit as this involves climbing into Trucks
