Recruit4staff are representing a well-established precision engineering business in their search for a CNC Turner to work in Liverpool

Job Details:

• Pay: £35,800 – £45,000 OTE
• Hours of Work: Mon – Thurs, Friday
• Duration: Permanent
• Benefits: Company bonus scheme, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension scheme

Job Role: As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes using Fanuc controls. The role involves producing small batch work and one-offs, interpreting detailed engineering drawings, and selecting appropriate tooling. You will work with various grades of steel and alloy steels to manufacture precision components using Doosan lathes and cylindrical grinders.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Experience with batch manufacturing
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality systems
• Ability to work from detailed engineering drawings
• Proven experience programming CNC lathes using Fanuc controls
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering qualification

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• Experience with one CNC programming software
• C & Y axis machining experience
• Computer literacy
