Job Role:
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems across engineering projects. The Quality Engineer will manage Inspection and Test Plans and Inspection Test Certificates, control quality documentation, conduct audits and inspections, and liaise with clients, suppliers, and third parties to ensure full compliance with quality standards.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Experience working in a Quality Engineer or Quality Manager role within engineering, manufacturing, or construction
- Strong knowledge of ITP and ITC quality documentation and implementation
- Experience with electrical products and systems within the power or energy sector
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Experience working in highly regulated or nuclear environments
- Auditor qualification or experience conducting audits
- ISO 9001 certification or Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt)
- NEBOSH
