Recruit4staff are representing a well-established engineering business in their search for a MIG Welder to work in Wrexham.

Job Details:

  • Pay: £14.50 - £16.00 per hour dependant on experience
  • Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm
  • Duration: Temp To Perm (14 weeks)

Job Role: The successful candidate will be MIG welding of structural and galvanised steel within a busy workshop environment. The successful MIG Welder will be responsible for the cleaning, marking out, and cutting of materials prior to welding, as well as assisting with additional workshop duties as required to support production and fabrication activities. This MIG Welder position is ideal for candidates with previous experience working on heavy steelwork and galvanised materials.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Experienced with welding structural steelworks
  • Experienced with welding galvanised steelworks
  • Ability to work within a fabrication and engineering workshop environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards as a MIG Welder

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 in MIG Welding or equivalent
  • NVQ Level 3 Welding & Fabrication or equivalent
