Recruit4staff are representing a leading Facilities Management company in their search for a Static Multi Skilled Engineer to work in Manchester.

Job Details:

  • Pay: Circa £39,000 per annum
  • Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Benefits: 5.7% Employer Pension Contribution, 31 days holiday including bank holidays increasing to 33 days after 5 years of service, regular company socials, charity events, Employee of the Month voucher, birthday voucher, no call-out rota, no overtime requirement

Job Role: As a Static Multi Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance across a commercial leisure facility located within a historic building. The Static Multi Skilled Engineer will maintain all plant, equipment and building systems in accordance with statutory requirements and service level agreements. Duties include servicing Air Handling Units, maintaining HVAC systems, resolving plumbing issues, carrying out minor electrical works, testing emergency lighting, checking fire alarm systems, conducting regular lift inspections and responding to reactive maintenance requirements. The Static Multi Skilled Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the site.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance
  • Experience within Facilities Management or Building Management Services
  • Hands-on mechanical and HVAC maintenance experience
  • Hands-on electrical maintenance experience
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Ability to diagnose faults and complete repairs across a variety of building systems
  • The successful Static Multi Skilled Engineer will demonstrate strong fault-finding and maintenance capabilities

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • AM2 qualification
  • Test and Inspection qualifications (2391 / 2394 / 2395)
  • Mechanical qualifications in Plumbing and/or HVAC
  • F-Gas Category 1 certification
  • Experience working within historic or listed buildings
