Recruit4staff are representing a well-established fabrication & engineering business in their search for a Press Brake Setter to work in Crewe.
Pay: Up to £18.29 per hour
Hours of Work: 7:45am to 4:45pm Monday to Thursday, 7:45am to 12:45pm Friday (39 hours per week)
Benefits: Early Finish Fridays, Pension, Free Parking, Flexible holiday bookings (Based on hours not days)
Job Role: As a Press Brake Setter you will be responsible for manufacturing fabricated metal parts and assemblies using a variety of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium. The Press Brake Setter will set and operate workshop machinery such as press brakes to bend and form metal in line with engineering drawings, while also carrying out finishing processes including linishing, deburring, grinding, and polishing to a high standard.
- Proven experience working as a Press Brake Setter with sheet metal/thin gauge steel
- Experience setting & operating a Press Brake machine
- City & Guilds or NVQ in Sheet Metal work, Fabrication, or similar
- Welding experience (MIG or TIG)
- Previous experience in a similar Sheet Metal Worker environment
