Recruit4staff are representing an established engineering business in their search for a Mechanical Fitter to report into the workshop in Deeside.

Job Details:

  • Pay: £18.00 - £20.00 per hour (Overtime available)
  • Mon - Fri / 10 Hour Days
  • Duration: Temp to Perm (14 weeks)

Job Role:

The Mechanical Fitter will be contracting within the Greater Manchester area, carrying out overhaul work on conveyor systems. The Mechanical Fitter will report into the workshop in Deeside before travelling out to site, supporting shutdown and maintenance activity. This Mechanical Fitter role will involve mechanical fitting, fault finding, strip-downs, rebuilds, and ensuring conveyor systems are operating safely and efficiently.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Mechanical fitting experience
  • Experience overhauling conveyor systems
  • Site shutdown experience
  • NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Fitting or equivalent
  • CSCS Card
  • CCNSG

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • IPAF 3a & 3b

Additional Information:

The Mechanical Fitter will report into the workshop in Deeside before travelling out to site. Temp to perm role. Commutable From: Wrexham, Ruabon, Chirk, Broughton, Deeside, Chester, Mold, Flint, Holywell, Ellesmere Port.
