Job Details:

  • Pay: Up to £ per annum
  • Hours of Work: 39 hours per week – 7:45am to 4:45pm Monday to Thursday, 7:45am to 12:45pm Friday
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Benefits: Early Finish Fridays, Pension, Free Parking, Flexible holiday bookings (Based on hours not days)

Job Role: As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting precision engineered and fabricated components using a range of measurement tools including CMM machines, micrometres, and verniers. The Quality Inspector will carry out first-off and final inspections, ensuring all components meet engineering drawings and specifications. You will also set and calibrate CMM equipment, complete inspection reports, and manage non-conformance documentation. The Quality Inspector plays a key role in maintaining high-quality standards, including inspecting parts sent to and returned from sub-contract suppliers.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working as a Quality Inspector with CMM inspection
  • Experience setting and operating CMM machines
  • Strong background measuring precision engineered components
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a Quality Inspector role within an engineering environment
  • Experience working within a precision engineering company
  • Experience setting and operating CNC or manual machinery
