Job Role:
The Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for carrying out installation and fitting duties on-site, including the installation of pipework using flanged connections, bolts, and gaskets. The Mechanical Fitter will also install bracketry, Unistrut systems, and simple steelwork brackets using various bolting methods. Working from layout drawings, the Mechanical Fitter will ensure equipment is set accurately to centre lines while using a range of specialist tools and equipment.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Fitting or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter
- Experience with pipefitting using flanges, bolts, and gaskets
- Basic welding knowledge for simple bracket fabrication
