Recruit4staff are representing an established manufacturing business in their search for an Assembly Operative to work in Welshpool.

Job Details:

  • Pay: £13.45 - £14.47 per hour
  • Hours of Work: Choice of 2 shift patterns - 4 or 5 day week
  • 40-hour week – £13.45: Mon–Thurs 8:00–17:30, Fri 8:00–12:00
  • 45-hour week – £14.47: Mon–Thurs 7:00–17:30, Fri 7:00–12:00
  • Duration: Temp to Perm
  • Benefits: On-site parking, Career progression opportunities

Job Role: As an Assembly Operative, you will be responsible for completing mechanical assembly tasks, working with sheet metal and aluminium, and using both general hand tools and power tools. You will be expected to follow all safety protocols and maintain high-quality standards throughout the process.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an assembly role
  • Previous experience using power tools

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Mechanical knowledge
  • NVQ in a related subject
