- Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 8am to 5:15pm, Friday 8am to 4:15pm

Responsibilities
As an Automation Build Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and wiring automation equipment and control panels to precise engineering specifications. You’ll interpret both electrical and mechanical schematics, perform fault-finding and functional testing, and occasionally support installation and commissioning on customer sites. Working closely with engineering teams, you’ll help identify and improve build processes to boost efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Proven experience in automation equipment build or industrial electrical/mechanical assembly
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Willingness to travel occasionally for site installations
- Relevant technical qualification Minimum Level 3 (e.g., NVQ, ONC, HNC in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering)
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
- Experience with pneumatic systems and industrial robotics
- Strong understanding of control systems, PLCs, sensors, and actuators
- Familiarity with safety standards and CE marking requirements
