Recruit4staff are representing an established materials handling and powered access equipment business in their search for a Workshop Engineer to work in Oswestry Job Details: Pay: £30,000 to £35,000 per annum Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm Duration: Permanent Benefits: Annual bonus scheme, 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, standard pension scheme, medical scheme and death-in-service benefit of four times salary Job Role: As a Workshop Engineer, you will service, maintain and repair a varied fleet of machinery, including access equipment, forklifts and telehandlers, with occasional work on the company's HGV, van and car fleet. The Workshop Engineer will focus on minimising fleet and customer downtime, completing repairs within required timescales and maintaining high standards of health and safety. You will also coordinate parts ordering with the Service Controller for jobs you are responsible for. Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications: Previous experience working as a Workshop Engineer or in a similar role involving forklift, access equipment or plant repairs Experience servicing, maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment Ability to complete repairs efficiently while minimising machinery downtime Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Service and Repair, or equivalent, would be advantageous for the Workshop Engineer Commutable From: Wrexham, Oswestry, Welshpool, Powys Similar Job Titles: Engineer, Workshop Technician, FLT Engineer, Forklift Engineer For further information about this Workshop Engineer position and other positions please apply now.
