Recruit4staff are representing an established environmental and infrastructure consultancy in their search for a CAD Technician to work in Liverpool.

Job Details

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday with flexibility on start and finish times (ideally 9:00am - 5:00pm or 8:00am - 4:00pm)

Duration: Permanent

Role: As a CAD Technician, you will produce CAD drawings, GIS mapping, 3D models and photomontages for UK infrastructure developments.

The CAD Technician will create GIS-based planning maps and Zone of Theoretical Visibility (ZTV) maps while supporting planners in securing planning permission.

You will also travel to development sites across the UK to capture photography and measure existing features for accurate 3D modelling within a busy and dynamic environment.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Experience producing CAD drawings, 3D visualisations and GIS maps.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • The successful CAD Technician will be able to work effectively within a collaborative planning team.
  • Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
  • Academic or professional qualifications in Geomatics, Surveying, Environmental Science, Technical Drawing or Design Processes.
  • Previous experience in a similar CAD Technician role would be advantageous.
