Recruit4staff are representing an established engineering business in their search for a CNC Machine Setter Operator to work in Warrington.

Job Details:

  • Pay: £15.00 - £17.00 per hour (Overtime paid at x1.5, pay review after 12 weeks)
  • Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • Duration: Temp to Perm (Expected temporary period of 3 months)

Job Role:

As a CNC Machine Setter Operator, you will be responsible for operating a large multi-functional CNC machine within a busy engineering environment. The CNC Machine Setter Operator will work from engineering drawings to identify and select the correct machining programmes, load raw materials, complete machine set-ups and tool changes, and carry out routine maintenance activities to ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved. This role offers excellent long-term prospects within a progressive engineering business.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a CNC Machine Setter Operator or in a similar CNC setting role
  • Experience of steel types and dimensions
  • Experience setting and operating CNC machinery
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Engineering or Manufacturing NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Fork Lift Truck Licence
  • Overhead crane experience
