Recruit4staff are representing a well-established manufacturing company in their search for a Paint Sprayer / Fork Lift Truck Driver to work in St Helens.

Job Details:

  • Pay: £14 per hour (Attendance bonus available)
  • Hours of Work: Monday – Thursday 7.45 – 4.30 & Fridays 7.45 – 12.45 (38 hours per week)
  • Duration: Temp To Perm

Job Role:

As a Paint Sprayer / FLT Driver, you will be responsible for preparing and painting a variety of metal components used within the construction sector. The role involves cleaning, prepping, and shot blasting materials prior to applying wet spray finishes. You will also operate a counterbalance forklift truck to move materials safely around site and support other departments where required. This position is based in a fast-paced manufacturing environment handling items of varying sizes and specifications.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer / FLT Driver or similar role involving wet spray painting
  • Proven experience in cleaning, preparing, and shot blasting metal components prior to painting
  • Experience working in a fast-paced industrial environment spraying various sizes and shapes of products
  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (in-house or expired licences may be considered)

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in Spray Painting or similar
