Recruit4staff are representing a well-established Environmental Services business in their search for a HGV Driver to work in Birmingham Job Details: Pay: £14.88 per hour (Overtime available after 40 hours paid at 1.5x rate, performance-related bonus worth up to an additional £1,000 per annum)
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 5:00am start, 40 hours per week
Duration: Permanent Benefits: Standard pension scheme, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, performance-related bonus scheme, overtime at enhanced rates
Job Role: The HGV Driver will carry out daily pre-start vehicle compliance checks before safely operating a Class 2 vehicle across Birmingham and surrounding areas. The HGV Driver will collect commercial waste from customer sites while maximising safety, compliance, and operational efficiency. This HGV Driver role offers a permanent opportunity within a professional environmental services operation where high standards of driving and customer service are essential.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications: Class 2 Licence Valid Digital Tachograph Card or willingness to obtain one Previous experience as an HGV Driver Strong understanding of vehicle compliance and road safety requirements Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications Refuse truck experience Experience driving HGVs through residential areas Previous waste management or environmental services experience Additional Information Permanent opportunity with a growing environmental services business Performance bonus worth up to an additional £1,000 per annum The successful HGV Driver will join a safety-focused operation with regular weekday working hours
