Recruit4staff are representing a well-established engineering company in their search for a Fabricator Welder to work in Skelmersdale.
Job Role: Fabricator Welders are responsible for fabricating a range of steel products in a workshop setting. This includes working from engineering drawings, fabricating mild steel and structural steel components, and performing MIG welding. The role also involves making tanks, vessels, and structural components while maintaining high-quality standards and accurate work records.
Job Details:
- Pay: Up to £17.50 per hour (Negotiable)
- Hours of Work: 7am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday, 7am-12:00 Friday
- Duration: Temp to Perm
- Overtime Rules: x1.5 in the week and on Saturday, x2 on Sunday
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Fabrication of steel components
- Working from engineering/technical drawings
- MIG welding
- Experience working with mild steel and structural steel
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience making tanks and vessels
- Working with stainless steel
- TIG welding
- Previous experience working as a coded welder
Desired Qualifications:
- NVQ/C&G in Fabrication and Welding or equivalent
- Driving Licence
- Coded in MIG welding
- Coded in TIG welding
- CSCS/CCNSG Card
