What our client is offering:

  • Starting salary of £35,114, rising to £39,452 as experience and competencies are signed off
  • Working 12 hour days and nights, including weekends (07:25 - 19:35 / 19:35 - 07:25)
  • Central location in Telford, accessible by public transport or free parking

The Role of the Warehouse Team Leader:

  • Organising daily warehouse activities to include receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping of goods
  • Monitor/maintain inventory levels
  • Ensure the warehouse is safe and organised
  • Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, reporting any issues or maintenance requirements
  • Loading finished goods and unloading materials
  • Stock taking
  • Completing paperwork
  • Resolving any issues within the team
  • Ensuring products being dispatched aren’t damaged
  • Allocating work out to the warehouse staff on a daily basis
  • FLT driving
  • Providing training to new / current staff
  • Use of in-house computer systems to book goods in and out
  • Working to high standards at all times and maintaining safety procedures

  • Previous experience within a similar role – essential
  • FLT Counterbalance Licence dated within the last 3 years – must be RTITB or ITSAAR accredited
  • Awareness of food hygiene regulations
  • Able to work days & nights – including weekends
