Job Details:
- Pay: £25.00 per hour CIS (Overtime paid at £30.00 per hour)
- Hours of Work: AM Shift - Monday to Friday 06:00 - 14:00 / PM Shift - Monday to Thursday 14:00 - 00:00
- Duration: Temporary (8-week contract)

Job Role:
As a Plater, you will be responsible for producing high-quality fabricated steel components from engineering drawings. The Plater will be responsible for marking out, fitting and assembling structural steelwork while carrying out MIG welding to a coded standard where required. You will be expected to maintain excellent quality standards and work safely within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Structural Steel Plater
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
- MIG welding to a coded standard
- Eligible to work on a CIS Self-Employed basis
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and commitment to health and safety
- Valid Manual Handling Certificate desirable
- Valid Abrasive Wheels Certificate desirable
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Qualifications in Welding & Fabrication, Platework or a related engineering discipline
