Job Details:
- Pay: £45,000–£53,284 per annum, (D.O.E) plus £1,000 shift allowance
- Hours of Work: 12-hour rotating day and night shifts.
- Duration: Permanent

Job Role:
As the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and improvement of plant, assets and services within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will complete planned preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair equipment faults, implement long-term improvements and help ensure plant and equipment remain safe and reliable. You will champion health and safety, GMP and product quality standards while communicating effectively with production and engineering teams.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer must have strong electrical knowledge and practical fault-finding experience
- Previous experience working in a similar engineering or maintenance position
- Recognised electrical qualification
- Apprenticeship served or equivalent engineering qualifications
- Ability to complete PPM tasks and support improved maintenance practices
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Previous FMCG or manufacturing experience would be advantageous for the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
- Ability to understand manufacturing processes, analyse inputs and outputs, and develop plans to improve efficiency and quality
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively at all levels of the business
- Analytical and numerical problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using computers and CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems)
- Experience working with production equipment and appropriate PPE
