Job Details:
- Pay: Up to £20 per hour
- Hours of Work: 07.30 – 15.30 Monday to Friday
- Duration: Temp to Perm
Job Role: The Pipefitter will be responsible for fabricating and assembling pipework systems onboard ships. The role includes TIG tacking pipework, interpreting engineering and isometric drawings, carrying out pressure testing and inspections, and ensuring all work is completed to a high-quality standard while adhering to strict health and safety procedures in a marine environment.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as a Pipefitter within an industrial environment
- Ability to fabricate and assemble pipework systems
- TIG tacking experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and isometric drawings
- Experience working with hygienic pipework
- City & Guilds / NVQ in Pipefitting or Fabrication or equivalent
- CCNSG, SCATS, CSCS or equivalent site safety certification
- Full UK driving licence
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Coded TIG welding certification
- Proven experience TIG welding hygienic pipework
Additional Information: This Pipefitter role offers the opportunity to progress into a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
