Recruit4staff are representing a well-established commercial vehicle business in their search for a Vehicle Prepper to work in Radcliffe.

Job Details:

  • Pay: Up to £15.50 per hour
  • Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm (some flexibility on start times)
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Benefits: Standard pension, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays

Job Role:

The Vehicle Prepper will be responsible for preparing commercial vehicles for paint application to a high standard. Duties include inspecting vehicle panels for imperfections, sanding surfaces to fine tolerances, masking vehicles prior to paint and operating grinders and sanding equipment. The Vehicle Prepper will work closely with the paint and bodyshop team to ensure vehicles are fully prepared and ready for the next stage. This role is ideal for an experienced Vehicle Prepper with a strong eye for detail.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in vehicle surface preparation
  • Experience using sanders and grinders
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently as a Vehicle Prepper

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • IMI Level 2 in Vehicle Body & Paint Operations or similar
  • Previous experience working as a Vehicle Prepper on commercial vehicles

Additional Information:

Permanent position within a stable and growing business. Commutable From: Radcliffe, Middleton, Ramsbottom, Bury, Whitefield.
