Job Role
Job Role: As a MET Technician, you will be responsible for assessing faults across a range of vehicle makes and models, carrying out diagnostics using bodyshop diagnostic equipment and stripping and refitting vehicle components. The MET Technician will work on mechanical, electrical and trim components, including bumpers, doors, lights, dashboards, interior trim, cooling systems, suspension and steering components.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a MET Technician or within a similar vehicle repair role
- Experience stripping and refitting vehicle components and parts
- Experience removing and refitting mechanical, electrical and trim components
- Ability to carry out vehicle diagnostics and fault assessment
- Full UK driving licence
- The MET Technician must be able to work accurately and effectively across a range of vehicle makes and models
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
- Previous OEM experience would be preferred for the MET Technician position
- Level 2 or Level 3 Apprenticeship in Vehicle Accident Repair
- Level 3 Vehicle Damage Mechanical, Electrical & Trim qualification
