Job Details:
- Starting Pay: £14.60 per hour
- Hours of Work: Rotational Shifts:
- Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm
- Week 2: Monday to Thursday, 2pm until Midnight
Job Role:
The successful MIG Welder will be responsible for MIG welding various thicknesses of mild steel between 5mm and 20mm. Duties will include fabrication work and following strict manufacturing processes to produce transportation equipment and containers. This MIG Welder role requires high attention to detail and the ability to work to production deadlines within a busy manufacturing environment.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a MIG Welder
- Experience MIG welding mild steel between 5mm and 20mm
- Fabrication experience
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Previously coded in MIG welding
- C&G/NVQ or equivalent in a Mechanical Engineering discipline
- Experience working as a MIG Welder within a production environment
Additional Information:
- Permanent late shifts are available instead of rotating shifts
- The company manufactures transportation equipment and containers
- Opportunity for a temp to perm position for an experienced MIG Welder
