For the successful CNC Programmer, our client is offering:
- Hourly rate of up to £17.50 per hour
- 7am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday
- Permanent position
- Free Parking
- Working in a small, friendly team
- 20 days holiday
- Bank holidays
- Overtime opportunities are available
The work is very varied, so lots of variety with the jobs you’re working with.
The role - CNC Programmer:
- Programming, Setting & Operating CNC Turning machines
- Use of both Siemens & Fanuc controls
- Setting of tools and fixtures, making required adjustments to offsets on all CNC machines
- Develop and write programs for CNC Machines using CAD and Fusion software
- CNC Machining prototypes or production batch work
- Machining of a variety of materials
- Look after the day to day maintenance of the CNC machining centres
- Keep work area and C.N.C clean, tidy and safe at all times
- Online & Offline programming
- Working to different tolerances
- Working from engineering drawings
- Perform routine maintenance of machinery/equipment
- Machining own JIGS and fixtures

- Demonstrate strong experience with CNC Turning
- Experienced with Fanuc and Siemens controls
- Experience machining various materials
- Strong experience with CNC Turning machinery
- Experience working with 3 & 5 Axis machinery
- Methodical approach to work
- Able to work on a variety of projects
