- Pay: Up to £53,000 per annum (Company Car provided)
- Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, Days role, 40 hours per week (flexibility required)
- Duration: Permanent
- Benefits: Company Car, 7% Pension Contribution, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, Life Assurance x1 salary
Job Role:
The Field Service Engineer will support customers across the United Kingdom and occasionally overseas, ensuring high-speed packaging machinery is maintained to exceptional standards and operates at greater than 98% efficiency. The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of packaging equipment at customer sites while maintaining the highest safety standards. Working as a Field Service Engineer, you will travel regularly across Scotland and the wider UK, diagnosing faults, completing preventative maintenance, and ensuring equipment performance meets customer expectations.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Extensive experience installing, maintaining, and repairing electromechanical machinery as a Field Service Engineer
- Knowledge and practical experience of PLCs and mechatronic systems
- Minimum Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Flexibility for frequent travel and overnight stays when required
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- Project management experience
- Lean and Six Sigma experience
Additional Information:
