For the successful Field Service Engineer, our client is offering: Competitive salary paying up to £37,500 Per Annum
– Depending on experience Working hours
– 8 am-4:30 pm Monday to Friday Permanent Role Company Van Overtime opportunities On call 1 in every 6 weeks
– £150 payment for being on call, and when called out, the first 4 hours is paid at double time 25 days holiday bank holidays Pension scheme The role of Field Service Engineer : Our client is currently looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer who will be covering the Northampton/Rugby & surrounding areas, but will also work in the Dudley workshop when required Initially, whilst training you will have to go across to the Dudley workshop To maintain, service and repair our range of load-handling equipment, including truck-mounted forklifts (TMF), truck-mounted cranes, forestry, and recycling cranes as well as demountable and skip loaders.
Responding to enquiries from customers about the technical aspects of the companies products Completing necessary paperwork Investigating issues that may arise What our client is looking for in a Field Service engineer : Will have demonstrable technical experience with a similar, mobile service role.
Possess the necessary experience in working with relevant mechanical, electrical & hydraulic systems.
Will have existing knowledge of some of the following plants would be beneficial: i.e forklifts, MHE equipment, HIAB’s, Moffett’s Will need to be flexible about travel, tasks performed, and working hours.
Should be comfortable working independently and be an effective problem solver.
Will possess excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills.
