Recruit4staff are representing a well-established precision engineering company in their search for a CNC Turner to work in Wirral.
Job Details:
- Pay: Basic salary of up to Β£36,075 per annum
- Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, 8am till 4:30pm, 2:30pm finish on Friday
- Duration: Permanent
- Benefits:

Job Role:
The CNC Turner will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC turning centres, including XYZ and Hurco lathes. The role includes reading and interpreting engineering drawings to manufacture bespoke components and small batch orders, changing tools as required, and ensuring all work meets tight tolerances.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Programming & setting of CNC Turning centres
- Working to tight tolerances
- Working from engineering drawings
- Experience working in a contract machining environment on bespoke, one-off jobs and small batch orders
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience working with CNC Milling machines
- CAD/CAM programming or similar experience
- Manual machining
Essential Qualifications:
- HNC/City and Guilds in Engineering or equivalent
Desired Qualifications:
- CAD/CAM programming
- Manufacturer training courses (Fanuc/Mazatrol/Heidenhain etc)
